Actually I was there at Brixton too and thought the only thing wrong with the
night was that it wasn't loud enough, treble was fine but it needed more low
end. As for all you namby pamby Yanks who go to raves with ear plugs, get a
life :) I nearly died laughing when I read about people going to raves with
plugs.
I've been to a rave with a full 20k sound rig in a fairly samll room, that managed
to move my insides around like nothing else (literally) for the 10 hours I was
there. Am I deaf even slightly? No.
The only way you're going to damage you're hearing is if you were exposed to
this regularly. As long as you give your ears a rest, you shouldn't have any
problems.
